A Glimpse of Starlight

This is going to be a truly miscellaneous Monday, so if you don’t like randomness, stop right here. Or scroll to the end for the prettified quotes. You’ve been warned.

Okay, so first off: I am horrible at keeping track of tags and awards I’ve been nominated for, so if you’ve given me one recently (or not so recently … *coughs*), and I haven’t done it, would you mind letting me know in the comments? If you don’t remember or don’t care, that’s fine too. I just don’t want anyone to be upset that I haven’t done a tag of theirs—it’s nothing personal at all, I’m just embarrassingly forgetful. I’ll work on keeping track of these things better in the future.

Next, I’ve decided to discontinue Miscellaneous Mondays. Some of you might be panicking because you love Miscellaneous Mondays (*awkward silence*), and some of you are probably breathing a sigh relief that I won’t be clogging up your email with annoying posts. To the former I say: Wait, don’t worry! I’ll still be posting weekly, plus Fireside Fridays. To the latter, I say: That’s why I’m doing this. Because I want to make sure my posts are good quality and worthwhile for you guys to read, not just something I threw together because I have to post something on Monday. Also, I want to be able to post poetry and more serious articles, which I feel like the more lighthearted title of “Miscellaneous” prohibits. I’m probably the only person that feels that, but oh well. Gotta keep my sanity.

However, I’ll still be, as I said, posting weekly. It’ll probably still be on Mondays, and the content probably won’t change all that much. However, I just feel like it gives me more freedom and you guys better content. Sound good?
