NaPoWriMo 2015 ~ Waiting Days

Happy Easter, dear readers! Here’s yesterday’s NaPoWriMo poem.

April 4th, 2015 ~ Waiting  Days

personwaiting

today’s a waiting day

again

like always

waiting for Your presence to return,

waiting for Your promises to come true,

waiting for my Home

today’s a waiting day

again

like always

waiting for the pain to fade away,

waiting for the world to be all right,

waiting for my Hero

and while I know all Your promises,

while I know that You’re faithful,

while I know that this won’t last forever,

oh, please,

these waitings days are just so long

please,

remind me of today

years ago,

centuries ago,

yes, that day,

the day of waiting,

the day of doubts and fears and

were we all wrong?

and

where are You?

remind me of that day,

the day of death,

the day of confusion and nothingness and

how can the King be killed?

and

why did You go?

yes, remind me of that day

remind of what happened the next day,

the day of the divine,

the day of the sun rising upon the Son rising and

dreams do come true!

and

He is risen!

yes, that day,

the day of the dance,

the day of the joy indescribable and the light unbearable and

now I can face anything

and

You’re alive—forever

please, remind me of that day

because the waiting days,

they always precede the wonder days

and sometimes the waiting days,

they are so long,

but

the wonder days,

they last forever
