A Glimpse of Starlight

In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.

~ Ephesians 3:12

When you approach Him this week, remember this: you have nothing to offer.

You have nothing to prove.

You have nothing to earn.

 

When you approach Him , He doesn’t see your sin.  He sees the One who paid for it.

He doesn’t see your brokenness.  He sees how He has made you beautiful.

He doesn’t see what you do for him.  He sees what He has done for you.

 

When you approach Him, you are loved.

You are freed.

You are forgiven.

 

When you approach Him, He smiles.

He opens His arms.

He says, “Come to me, you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

 

Won’t you approach Him this week?  Do it without fear and without shame, because He loves you, and perfect loves drives out fear.  Never forget that.
